Heal from within.
Respond with confidence.
Live in calm and balance.
A safe space for high-achieving women to find balance, heal past wounds, and create healthier relationships.
You don’t have to keep holding it all together
You hold yourself to impossibly high standards—as a mother, wife, professional, or friend. On the outside, people see someone capable, dependable, and confident. But inside, the critical voice never lets up. No matter how much you give, it never feels like enough.
The constant pressure to perform at 110% leaves you burned out and disconnected from yourself. You juggle endless responsibilities, yet your own needs rarely make the list. You want to slow down and feel present, but instead, you’re exhausted, anxious, and afraid that life is passing you by.
If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone. Many women I work with feel overwhelmed, unfulfilled, and secretly wonder if they’ll ever be able to silence that inner critic. The truth is, healing is possible. With the right support, you can quiet the shame, reconnect with who you truly are, and finally draw the line that protects your peace.
How I can help
Anxiety
You hold it all together on the outside, but inside you’re overthinking, second-guessing, and waiting for the other shoe to drop. Together, we’ll use proven techniques to quiet the worry, regulate your nervous system, and help you feel more present, grounded, and at ease.
Boundaries
You’re used to saying yes, even when you’re exhausted. People rely on you, but inside you feel resentful, guilty, and drained. Therapy can help you set limits with confidence, break free from people-pleasing, and choose relationships that truly support you.
Trauma
Painful memories or past experiences don’t have to define your life today. With preparation-focused EMDR and other trauma-informed approaches, you can defuse triggers, release shame, and finally experience safety, freedom, and lasting healing.
About Teresa Franz, LCSW
I’m Teresa Franz, LCSW, and I work with women who feel like they’re doing everything for everyone but can’t seem to find peace for themselves. Many of my clients are high-achieving, educated, and capable — yet inside, they’re exhausted from juggling impossible expectations, overthinking every decision, and saying yes when they desperately want to say no. They struggle with people-pleasing, setting boundaries, and a constant inner critic that leaves them questioning if they’re ever enough.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone — and therapy doesn’t have to feel like more “talk” without change. In therapy, you’ll find a safe space to pause, breathe, and focus on your own healing. Together, we’ll work to quiet the inner critic, release the weight of old wounds, and build boundaries that honor your needs. My goal is to support you in creating a life that feels balanced, authentic, and truly your own.
Our work together
Every person’s story is different, which is why I use a mix of approaches to shape therapy around what works best for you. This way, our work together is personalized — helping you heal old wounds, quiet anxiety, and build the confidence and balance you’ve been searching for.
Modalities I may draw from:
Attachment-based therapy
Helps you understand how early relationships shape the way you connect with others today.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
Focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions.
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)
Helps reduce the emotional intensity of painful memories so you can move forward without being triggered by the past.
Internal family systems (IFS)
Helps you recognize and heal the different “parts” of yourself — like the inner critic — so they no longer run the show
Mindfulness-based therapy
Brings awareness to the present moment, helping you let go of constant overthinking and worry.
Psychodynamic therapy
Explores the deeper roots of your struggles, often shaped by past experiences or relationships.
Somatic therapy
Connects the mind and body in healing, to release stress and process trauma stored within the body.
Trauma-focused therapy
Offers a safe and structured way to process difficult experiences to help you reduce triggers and regain a sense of safety.

I wanted to share my gratitude with you as recently I’ve been referring back to all my notes I’ve taken throughout our visits together over the years and I can’t tell you how grateful I am for all the tools you’ve supplied me in my toolbox. Thank you – endlessly.
Previous Client
I’ve been thinking a lot about our work together, and I just wanted to say again how deeply I appreciate the space you held for me during such a difficult time.
Previous Client
I’ve thought often about the work we did together and how foundational it’s been. You helped me begin to see things clearly for the first time and gave me the language and space to name the grief, confusion, and patterns I had long been carrying. I’m incredibly grateful for that.
Previous Client
I’ve had a lot of therapists, and I feel like they were a 1 on a scale of 1 to 100. I felt like the leader. I thought the more I talked, they would find out what I needed. But it never happened.
Everything in your website was exactly what I was looking for.
Everything in your practice is set up in such a gentle way.
From the first moment we spoke, I felt safe, and I didn’t even know that’s what I needed. It was so normal for me to be paranoid.
You connected right with my core need, which was safety.
