When the Past Still Feels Present

Trauma isn’t just about what happened — it’s about how your body and nervous system learned to survive.

You might notice this showing up as:

• Feeling constantly on edge or anxious
• Panic attacks or sudden emotional overwhelm
• Difficulty trusting others or feeling safe
• Flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, or racing memories
• Feeling numb, disconnected, or shut down
• Trouble sleeping or frequent nightmares
• People-pleasing or struggling with boundaries

Trauma therapy helps your nervous system learn that the danger
has passed — so your life no longer has to revolve around survival.

What Is EMDR Therapy?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-backed therapy that helps your brain process difficult memories so they no longer feel overwhelming.

Instead of talking through every detail of what happened, EMDR works with how your body and brain stored the experience.

During EMDR, we use simple bilateral stimulation, like guided eye movements or tapping, while you briefly focus on a memory. This helps your brain “re-file” it as something that happened in the past, not something you’re still living in.

⇒ You stay in control and move at your own pace
⇒ You don’t have to relive or retell every detail
⇒ Sessions are done via secure, HIPAA-compliant video
⇒ EMDR works for both single events and long-term trauma

EMDR is recommended by organizations like the WHO and
the American Psychiatric Association for trauma and PTSD.

What makes your approach different?

I offer a warm, trauma-informed space that goes deeper than just talking. My work is relational, personalized, and focused on helping you feel safe enough to make real, lasting change.

What do you help with?

I work with women experiencing anxiety, trauma (including PTSD and complex trauma), people-pleasing, perfectionism, relationship struggles, and boundary challenges.

What types of therapy do you use?

I tailor therapy to each client using EMDR, attachment-based therapy, IFS, somatic therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-focused approaches.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions and see if we’re a good fit — with no pressure to commit.

Do you take insurance?

I’m a private-pay practice. I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, and many clients use HSA/FSA funds.

Previous Client
I wanted to share my gratitude with you as recently I’ve been referring back to all my notes I’ve taken throughout our visits together over the years and I can’t tell you how grateful I am for all the tools you’ve supplied me in my toolbox. Thank you – endlessly.
Previous Client
I’ve been thinking a lot about our work together, and I just wanted to say again how deeply I appreciate the space you held for me during such a difficult time.
Previous Client
I’ve thought often about the work we did together and how foundational it’s been. You helped me begin to see things clearly for the first time and gave me the language and space to name the grief, confusion, and patterns I had long been carrying. I’m incredibly grateful for that.
Previous Client
I’ve had a lot of therapists, and I feel like they were a 1 on a scale of 1 to 100. I felt like the leader. I thought the more I talked, they would find out what I needed.  But it never happened.
Everything in your website was exactly what I was looking for.
Everything in your practice is set up in such a gentle way.
From the first moment we spoke, I felt safe, and I didn’t even know that’s what I needed. It was so normal for me to be paranoid.
You connected right with my core need, which was safety.
